aka McDonald's Regiment of Militia (Williamsburg Township). Established in early 1780, under BG Alexander McIntosh. POW at the Fall of Charleston, on parole for a considerable time. His Regiment was attached to Marion's Brigade in August of 1780 with command given to Lt. Col. Hugh Horry, and he resumed command of it after his exchange was effected in early 1781.
